OUR PHILOSOPHY

Made in Utah. Built to last. Nothing extra.

Most wallets are designed by people who've never thought seriously

about wallets. They add features. They add layers. They add complexity.

And then they charge you $100+ for the privilege of carrying it all around.

FRAMED started differently. It started with a mallet.

Every wallet in the first run was hand-stamped — letter by letter — by

one person in Utah who believed a wallet should do exactly two things:

hold your cards and hold your cash. Aircraft-grade aluminum.

High-quality elastic. Nothing else.

THE PROCESS

Six versions before we got it right.

Started with cardstock — just to get the dimensions right. Then cardboard. Then leather. Then wood with red elastic. Then a sewn fabric version (thread still hanging off it). Then aluminum.

The waterjet cut the first ten frames. The edges weren't consistent enough. So we moved to laser cutting. That's the version that worked.

The design never changed. Just the process of getting it right.

  • Two sides. Two jobs.

Card side sized to credit card dimensions.

Cash side sized for bills folded in half.

    No guessing. It just works.

  • Aircraft-grade aluminum.

6061-T6 aluminum — the same spec used in aerospace. Built to outlast every wallet you've ever owned.

  • No screws. No mechanisms.

Nothing to strip. Nothing to break.

    High-quality knitted elastic — replaceable

    when the time comes.

  • Stamped in Utah.

The FRA/MED mark in the corner isn't a logo, it's a foundry mark. Someone made this with their hands.

THE ORIGIN

It started with a mallet.

Every wallet in the first run was hand-stamped, letter by letter, by one person in a garage in Utah. Not a factory. Not a fulfillment center. A workbench, a stamp, and a mallet.

The idea was simple: a wallet should do exactly two things. Hold your cards. Hold your cash. Aluminum frame. Elastic strap. That's it.

We didn't add RFID blocking because you didn't ask for it. We didn't add a card ejector because you don't need one. We obsessed over what to remove, not what to add.

THE WORKSHOP

Same hands. Same stamp. Same mallet.

Thousands of wallets have shipped. Every single one was stamped by hand, in Utah, by the same person who designed it ten years ago.

No factory line. No third-party assembly. No fulfillment center in Reno. A workbench, a die stamp, and a mallet.

We've had the offers. Bigger machines. Cheaper labor overseas. License the design and sit back. We said no every time.
Mass-produced is a different product. Made by hand is this one.

The FRA/MED mark in the corner of your wallet has a slight imperfection somewhere. A letter that hit a hair off-center. A pressure mark only you'll notice. That's how you know it's yours.

Made in Utah. By hand. Always.

THE DETAILS.

Questions. Answered.

How many cards does it hold?

1 to 25, though if you're carrying 25 cards I'm not sure how you landed here.

Most people settle in around 6 to 12, enough for daily life without the brick-in-pocket feeling. Start with your 6 most-used cards and go from there.

What about cash — does it hold bills well?

Yes. The cash side is sized specifically for US bills folded in half. Fold once, slide in, done. They stay put.

What if the elastic wears out?

That's great, it's replaceable. We have a lifetime warranty so when the elastic loses tension (usually after a few years of daily use), contact us and we'll sort you out.

Does it have RFID blocking?

Hell NO!
And if a wallet brand is leading with RFID blocking as a feature, ask yourself what else they're hiding behind the tinfoil.

You're more likely to get struck by lightning, twice, on your wedding day than to have your credit card stolen via RFID.

Here's the truth the industry doesn't want you to know: there is not a single verified case of someone's credit card being skimmed through their wallet in the wild. Not one. Modern contactless cards use one-time tokens, meaning even if some hooded villain pressed a reader against your back pocket on the subway, they'd walk away with a useless string of digits.

We didn't build this wallet to protect you from a crime that isn't happening. We built it to be the best wallet you've ever owned.

Where is it made?

Utah, USA. Every wallet is still made and hand stamped here in the U.S. of A. The FRA/MED stamp on the corner is our mark, the same way a blacksmith marks their work. It means someone made this by hand.
